Tintangles are the creation of London based designer James Fraser
The Sporting Moments series of these
3-D artworks capture, players, teams, games and momentous events from the world of sport.
Don’t take them too seriously though. Sports are only games after all! Therefore, Tintangles echo the realms of Tin Toys and Tip-Top table football from yester-year. Oozing with history, pride and a splash of faded colour, they appear from a bygone era when players shook hands and meant it and would never dream of taking a dive. A world of boys own sporting heroes lifted from an old 1970s edition of Shoot Magazine, Subbuteo meets Roy of the Rovers, from Billy’s Boots and cigarette cards to Panini sticker albums.
Crafted from wood, scrap metal, fizzy pop & beer cans, bottle-tops and household paint - Tintangles are an eco friendly recycling phenomena too.
Each TINTANGLE is guaranteed to contain recycled materials.
